3 tablespoons oil
1 kg(2 Ibs) fresh pumpkin, peeled and seeded, cutinto bite-sized chunks
1/2 to 1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
125 ml(1/2 cup) water

Light soy sauce

Prepare ingredients.

Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-low heat, add sliced garlic and stir-fry;

Add the pumpkin and cook, stirring occasionally, untilall the pumpkin is coated with oil and begins to soften.

Stir fry a few times and add a little light soy sauce and water into it.

Cover and simmer for two minutes, until the pumpkin is slightly soft;

Finally, add sugar, salt and other seasonings, stir-fry evenly, pour into a bowl, and sprinkle some chopped shallots on the surface.
