Braised E-Fu Noodles is one of the traditional Cantonese noodle dishes. Many people in Guangzhou have the custom of eating noodles on birthday feasts, which means “longevity”. Ingredients for Braised E-Fu Noodles

E-Fu Noodles 240g Straw mushroom 250g
Chives 150g 3 cloves of garlic
Oyster sauce 25g Light soy sauce 15ml
Dark Soy sauce 6ml White sugar 3g
Shaoxing wine 6ml chicken soup (or boiling water) 250ml
Sesame oil 3ml A little cooking oil

 

How to make Braised E-Fu Noodles

Wash the straw mushrooms and cut them in half, wash the leek and cut into sections, mince garlic

Mix oyster sauce, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar and clear chicken soup into a seasoning soup for later use

Pour a proper amount of water from the pot to boil, let the straw mushrooms blanch for 1 minute, pick up, rinse with cold water, drain the water for later use
